I'm a mystic, pagan, shaman student for life, greatly inspired by the beauty and nature and being part of the bigger picture in my small way. LJ is my main internet blog & site and I write about daily musings as well as some spiritual posts.

I have experienced some great losses & grief during the past 3 years and I'm still in the process of sailing through the storm of fear about mortality and suffering and yet I do have the answers that solve the fears, it's just not an easy thing to find the courage. All in all I am a positive soul, always looking forward to new ways to develop myself to be a better person.

I am looking for friends who are soulful and interesting and with whom I can really connect. Small talk & quantity over quality aren't my kind of things. I am open minded so you don't have to be similar to me or have similar interests as long as there is something that resonates.

I live in Lakeland, Florida and I work for a small software company. I have dogs, I show dogs sometimes, and I train dogs.

I'm in the middle of a divorce after 7 years, which hopefully will be over soon.

I like video games, TV, movies, dogs, crafting, Magic the Gathering, board games and other fun things.

Big time into Doctor Who <3 Big nerd really. I like conventions and I like Cosplay.

I like all kinds of music really, I just.. turn on Spotify or Pandora and just let stuff play. Not picky.

I am really only looking for people who are 18+; but I don't care about much else. I am in a handful of communities but I don't participate much - I tend to keep to myself. My LJ is fairly locked down and whatever I write in there stays in there.

I mostly just chronicle what is going on in my life. I like friends but I'm not good at meeting new people because I'm extremely introverted. I do not censor myself at ALL in my journal... so... whatever I'm feeling, I just say. I have issues with my weight (though working on it) and I'm bipolar so at times you'll find manic posts and at times you'll find depressive posts.

I check in daily, but I post at least once a week. I read my FList every day. I don't ever comment unless I actually have something worth saying - I don't like to just... say stuff to say stuff.

I'm Nef, I've been around on LJ for well over a decade now. I'm 25, an INFP and I live in the south of England with my lovely husband and our cat JaffaCat! (he's like a cake, but furry).

I've had a pretty crazy couple of years - last year I got married to the love of my life and I finally also achieved my goal of becoming a branch manager of a bookshop. This year, the turbulence has continued, with my husband taking the plunge and starting contracting rather than permanent employment, our landlord decided to sell our house and then we found out the same week that we were expecting our first child! So, we decided to move back to my hometown and a month before we moved, I found out I was being made redundant!

So, it's been a very change driven couple of years, but I think it's all for the best. Now I'm at home all the time, I'm hoping I can reconnect with the dreamer within and rediscover the creative side of myself that full time employment beat out of me. I can't really say what my livejournal will be like over the coming months, since my whole life is going to be turned upside down in November,

I'm really into music, I love progressive rock, but there is also plenty of quality pop being released at the moment as well. I enjoy reading and normally read around 50 books a year. This year, a lot of my free time is being spent planning out baby things and kind of figuring this stay at home business.

I would love to have new friends on LJ, I love commenting and reading about different lives, and it's been kind of sad as the communities on here have dwindled. For me, my LJ is a really important part of me, it's my documentation of my life, and I love looking back on the past from time to time.

Hello! I'm Serena! My real name is Stephanie, but I prefer Serena. I live in Tampa, Florida but I am British at heart.

I've been on Livejournal for 7 years but I find that I'm posting a lot less lately, probably due to zero friend interaction anymore. Right now my journal really only sees personal stuff because I find it's a good outlet for my frustrations.

I work as an assistant manager at McDonald's and I live with a crazy fun guy and our four pet rats. Right now I'm kind of just trying to figure out life. Three years ago, I came to Florida from Ohio on a whim and it's been a crazy journey. Currently I am looking into going back to school and learning how to drive.

My loves are rats, Bath and Body Works, photography, music (heavily on the prog side), cooking and playing video games. I also make some fantabulous icons and do take requests as I love a challenge!

I like to read a good book once in awhile, but usually am spending my free time writing screenplays, of which scenes are scanned and posted on my lj blog. I've wandered in here via the beautiful and effervescent tatjna. I'm 28, queer & genderqueer, but female by design and preferred pronoun. I'm living in the Berkshires of Massachusetts with my primary partner, our combined genetic payload, and a small angry dog that lives under our bed and makes "brff"ing noises.

I post a lot about my journey from fat to Physique, body acceptance, body building, and living with multiple (and sometimes debilitating) food allergies. I have a special filter for my queerventures, for those that are not into that kind of scene. I occasionally foray into gender and my struggles with it. I toss in a photo in almost every post, for no particular reason. Lately, a lot of selfies and progress pics.

Hi everyone!

I've been kind of bad with my LJ lately, not keeping up with the friends I have, but you guys seem so interesting, I felt like I had to jump in too :D

I'm Bec, or Rebecca (I've become quite used to my whole name, so either one is fine), and I'm 37, living with my partner of 16 years, Adam. We share a house with our four children, aged 6, 4, 2 and 11 months, and we have a dog, three cats, and a chook. Right now we live in Perth, Western Australia, but are currently trying to buy a house in a small city on the south coast. We put an offer in on a place there yesterday and I'm being all nonchalant and dismissive in real life but OH MY GOD I WANT IT SO BAD IT'S PERFECT FOR US PLEASE LET US HAVE IT.

In my previous life, I spent 10 years at university studying German, Philosophy and then falling into a teaching degree. I really love teaching. I hope to go back to it when the youngest child starts school fulltime. I teach high school students and despite what everyone says about teenagers being awful, I quite like them. So far, they've not thrown any chairs at me, so I guess they like me too!

While I'm at home, I'm trying to keep some semblance of self and sanity by writing a regular blog called path:ethic and also doing therealljidol which is a writing competition. I also have a novel/story which is simmering away and which I get to work on occasionally, but the jury's still out on whether I'll ever finish it :D I can always use my children as an excuse, at least for now.

I don't tend to post much about politics, but you should know I'm fairly left, even by Australian standards. I think it's important to always question your own opinions and prejudices, though, and I'm open to different points of view, and I'm always polite :) I am not religious, but I will absolutely respect (and discuss) your relationship with G/god if you have one.

Right now I'm not so good at commenting (see above where I talk about moving -- we need to sell the place we're in, too) but I try to post a couple of times a week and I try my best to get back to you if you comment on my posts! I don't mind where you're from or what you do, as long as you're friendly to me and others who like to visit my journal. Im nearly 10 years older than you, but we have plenty in common. I still have social anxiety, but I feel I've gotten better over the years. I use to love writing, still trying to get back into it. LOVE Perks, 500 Days, Girls, BBT, Harry Potter, etc. It may be more selfish for me because I get to relive my youth through your LJ entries, but maybe you can see what adult life is like for an older girl with SA :-P

Hi all,

I'm Chris, age 33, female, married with four cats. I work in media law at the moment but am soon to become a SAHM for the first time. As my LJ has been of the "childfree" variety for the last ten years, I'd be thrilled to make some new friends who are SAHMs or parents generally (ie people who won't die of boredom when my LJ makes its inevitable transition from "vaguely interesting lawyer" to "incompetent and bumbling first time parent").

My main interests are baking and cross stitch (quite domestic really) and all things related to cats. I post nearly every day, time permitting, and comment when I feel I have something useful to say. If you add me, please let me know so I can add you back.

Hi all! My name is Laura and I'm a 30 year old South Australian. I'm just approaching 5 years married to a gentlemanly German stonemason and we have a delightfully demonic 3.5 year old son. I am a qualified solicitor/barrister but much prefer my current life as a stay at home mum.

I love the country, where we recently moved to from the city, but one day I want to live by the sea. I adore Noel Gallagher, Stephen King, 'The Walking Dead' and 'Game of Thrones'. I have a pet dog, a bunny and a turtle. Kids and animals are my weaknesses, (aside from iced coffee). I have degenerative disc disease and underwent spinal surgery last year, so I sometimes struggle with pain but I don't let it define me. I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. I'm open-minded to befriending people from all walks of life, if they can afford me the same, and prize kindness above all else. I post only when I have something to say, which varies.
