I'm Nef, I've been around on LJ for well over a decade now. I'm 25, an INFP and I live in the south of England with my lovely husband and our cat JaffaCat! (he's like a cake, but furry).

I've had a pretty crazy couple of years - last year I got married to the love of my life and I finally also achieved my goal of becoming a branch manager of a bookshop. This year, the turbulence has continued, with my husband taking the plunge and starting contracting rather than permanent employment, our landlord decided to sell our house and then we found out the same week that we were expecting our first child! So, we decided to move back to my hometown and a month before we moved, I found out I was being made redundant!

So, it's been a very change driven couple of years, but I think it's all for the best. Now I'm at home all the time, I'm hoping I can reconnect with the dreamer within and rediscover the creative side of myself that full time employment beat out of me. I can't really say what my livejournal will be like over the coming months, since my whole life is going to be turned upside down in November,

I'm really into music, I love progressive rock, but there is also plenty of quality pop being released at the moment as well. I enjoy reading and normally read around 50 books a year. This year, a lot of my free time is being spent planning out baby things and kind of figuring this stay at home business.

I would love to have new friends on LJ, I love commenting and reading about different lives, and it's been kind of sad as the communities on here have dwindled. For me, my LJ is a really important part of me, it's my documentation of my life, and I love looking back on the past from time to time.

I feel very much the same about LJ--it's fun to pick a year (I've been here since 1999 myself) and see what I was up to. :)

Also echoing the sentiments about this being an interesting time in your life--sounds like a fun journey to read along with! And as someone who would like to rekindle the creativity the world drubbed out of me, I'm with you there too. :)
