Thanks for providing this opportunity for meets and greets, Punkymcmunky. I was extremely active on LJ years ago posting under a different name. I started this particular profile shortly before I began my hiatus and since I wrote as “inSpireShine” in the years after on MySpace and other sites, now that I’m back on LJ I figured it was time to break this old dusty profile off and shine again.

I spent half my life in New York, the other half in Florida. My hobbies are blogging and writing, and building with Lego. There are photos on my profile of my 8 foot long city I made out of Lego. When I a kid and teen I drew spaceships and space stations a lot. I would like to dust off my ruler and fine point marker and do that again someday.

I love to read but I don’t get to read much so I don’t want to get into my favorite books…except to say that my number one favorite book is The Stand. I am a writer, unpublished as yet, and I have one “finished” novel that I need to re-work and resubmit, and I have several more unfinished, and many planned books that are weighing heavily on me.
I am a deep thinker and I like to think of myself as a philosopher. I enjoy being inspired, and inspiring others. I like to write things that make people think, and read things that open my mind as well. My journal is open to all and it will only go to Friends only for the very personal blogs. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about them. I’m open to adding nearly anyone who seems interesting with interesting things to read and who is interested in reading my stuff too.
I don’t live with my head in the sand of naivety but I do come online to get away from the news not read more of it here. So if you’re always/only posting political blogs or other hot topics please don’t be bothered if I glance past your blogs and not at them.
