Amy, 28 (very nearly 29), married, no kids but two dogs who think they're humans.
I live in North Carolina and have for just about 3 years now (in fact we just bought our first house here). Originally from Maryland and came to NC by way of Tennessee and then Oregon.
I have a doctoral degree in clinical audiology and currently work for a public school system as an educational audiologist.
I'm a bit of a geek. Or a lot of one depending on who you ask.
When I'm not working I'm usually hanging out with my husband and two dogs, watching movies, sewing, cooking, baking, binging on Netflix, reading, working on honing my American Sign Language, or whatever strikes my fancy at the moment.

I try to be pretty active on LJ though occasionally life happens and I'll be a bit MIA for a week or a few but I almost always manage to get caught up with my friends. I tend to keep a fairly streamlined friend list so I can manage to comment regularly but I've had several friends go inactive over the past year and figured it was time to build my list back up again so a current friend sent me this way. I tend to post about the usual sorts of every day things in my life or about whatever is on my mind. My journal is friends only so feel free to add me and check it out .
