I'm Merel, 36 years old folklorist, nature educator & crafts person from Finland. I'm a mystic, pagan, shaman student for life, greatly inspired by the beauty and nature and being part of the bigger picture in my small way. I want to live a magical, meaningful life, weaving connection between people & nature. That is my calling in life. I like kitchen witchery and eccentric fashion, bizarre and mystical and things that are not too dualistic.

I have lots of interests and passions from writing to fandoms. I want to become a Butoh-dancer as soon as I can get better in touch with my body & find courage to express me by it. I'm also interested in Clownery and fools. I am an introvert (INFJ), childfree and gender flexible, a real book lover. Music is important to me as well. I don't have TV and I read the news about twice a week but I am aiming to make this world a better place with everyday choices. I'm very much into nature friendly, green lifestyle, healthy food, vegetarianism, against anthropocentrism...

I like to watch good movies and Japanese & Korean dramas. I'm a bit addicted to pinterest (http://pinterest.com/kuunkorento/boards/) and I also have a creativity blog I update quite rarely (http://www.merelsmagic.blogspot.fi/).
LJ is my main internet blog & site and I write about daily musings as well as some spiritual posts.

I have experienced some great losses & grief during the past 3 years and I'm still in the process of sailing through the storm of fear about mortality and suffering and yet I do have the answers that solve the fears, it's just not an easy thing to find the courage. All in all I am a positive soul, always looking forward to new ways to develop myself to be a better person.

I am looking for friends who are soulful and interesting and with whom I can really connect. Small talk & quantity over quality aren't my kind of things. I am open minded so you don't have to be similar to me or have similar interests as long as there is something that resonates.

I'm Vicky, 27, female, whovian, dog-lover.

I live in Lakeland, Florida and I work for a small software company. I have dogs, I show dogs sometimes, and I train dogs.

I'm in the middle of a divorce after 7 years, which hopefully will be over soon.

I like video games, TV, movies, dogs, crafting, Magic the Gathering, board games and other fun things.

Big time into Doctor Who <3 Big nerd really. I like conventions and I like Cosplay.

I like all kinds of music really, I just.. turn on Spotify or Pandora and just let stuff play. Not picky.

I am really only looking for people who are 18+; but I don't care about much else. I am in a handful of communities but I don't participate much - I tend to keep to myself. My LJ is fairly locked down and whatever I write in there stays in there.

I mostly just chronicle what is going on in my life. I like friends but I'm not good at meeting new people because I'm extremely introverted. I do not censor myself at ALL in my journal... so... whatever I'm feeling, I just say. I have issues with my weight (though working on it) and I'm bipolar so at times you'll find manic posts and at times you'll find depressive posts.

I check in daily, but I post at least once a week. I read my FList every day. I don't ever comment unless I actually have something worth saying - I don't like to just... say stuff to say stuff.

I'm Nef, I've been around on LJ for well over a decade now. I'm 25, an INFP and I live in the south of England with my lovely husband and our cat JaffaCat! (he's like a cake, but furry).

I've had a pretty crazy couple of years - last year I got married to the love of my life and I finally also achieved my goal of becoming a branch manager of a bookshop. This year, the turbulence has continued, with my husband taking the plunge and starting contracting rather than permanent employment, our landlord decided to sell our house and then we found out the same week that we were expecting our first child! So, we decided to move back to my hometown and a month before we moved, I found out I was being made redundant!

So, it's been a very change driven couple of years, but I think it's all for the best. Now I'm at home all the time, I'm hoping I can reconnect with the dreamer within and rediscover the creative side of myself that full time employment beat out of me. I can't really say what my livejournal will be like over the coming months, since my whole life is going to be turned upside down in November,

I'm really into music, I love progressive rock, but there is also plenty of quality pop being released at the moment as well. I enjoy reading and normally read around 50 books a year. This year, a lot of my free time is being spent planning out baby things and kind of figuring this stay at home business.

I would love to have new friends on LJ, I love commenting and reading about different lives, and it's been kind of sad as the communities on here have dwindled. For me, my LJ is a really important part of me, it's my documentation of my life, and I love looking back on the past from time to time.
