Date: 2013-07-25 06:24 am (UTC)I feel like I should probably post a giant disclaimer section: queer, feminist, polyamorous, agnostic with socialist leanings. None of these are really as important as the 'queer and feminist' bit, though I will admit, if you're uncomfortable with polyamory (because it's honestly pretty fuckin' weird), though it's not a huge thing in my journal, it will probably throw you the first time you notice I talk about my girlfriend.
Apart from the above, I don't really have any particular "omg you must believe in X and Y and Z!" rules for friending me. If you poke through the writing I have public and feel like I'd be a good addition to your friends list, go ahead and add me!

Date: 2013-07-25 11:19 am (UTC)I am from New Jersey but am 2 weeks away from relocating for North Carolina for a teaching job! Generally, I post 3-4 times a week, and prefer people who do the same. I comment when I see fit, and tend to ask for advice in my LJ, so it'd be great if you read and commented also.
Other things about me - I LOVE to read, love Zombies, LOVE LOVE LOVE baseball (I'm a Phillies fan).
I'm very open-minded and political, but keep that to a minimum in my Live Journal.
