I'm Jenn, I'm 25, and I'm of the woman-ly variety. I live in western Oregon though I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and spent a year living in Columbus, Ohio. My undergrad degree is in chemistry and I'm working on a PhD in the field (materials chem) AS WE SPEAK. Type? Whatever. I share an apartment with my primary partner, whom I've lived with for the last two years, and our terrible black cat (whom I call Monster but who answers, depending on her mood, to "here kitty kitty", "kitty baby!", or "Twilight!"—she, um, came named).

I feel like I should probably post a giant disclaimer section: queer, feminist, polyamorous, agnostic with socialist leanings. None of these are really as important as the 'queer and feminist' bit, though I will admit, if you're uncomfortable with polyamory (because it's honestly pretty fuckin' weird), though it's not a huge thing in my journal, it will probably throw you the first time you notice I talk about my girlfriend.

Apart from the above, I don't really have any particular "omg you must believe in X and Y and Z!" rules for friending me. If you poke through the writing I have public and feel like I'd be a good addition to your friends list, go ahead and add me!
