I am slowly making my way back to LJ as life has been crazy. I deleted my old lj but missed having my little lj place.

I read a lot in my phone but don't comment much till the weekend as that's my only time to sit down in front of the computer.

My name is Nicky and a mom to two boys. They are 22 months and 11 months old. Both were preemies, one at 34 weeks and one at 26 weeks.

I write a lot about them.

I share a lot of pictures. My family likes to vist the zoo and I like taking animal pictures.

Hi, I'm Carrollee. 40, living in South Carolina. Liberal but I don't talk a TON about politics unless something is bothering me on Facebook. I am also Catholic, but I don't really talk about religion either.
I'm married and have two sons (5 and 1) and a dog. We're going to start trying for baby #3 in the upcoming future, and I'll be doing IVF/PGD so I'm sure I'll blather on about that once I start the process.
I am a writer, and I knit, crochet, cross stitch, and make other things. I am a voracious reader. I also draw and paint some.

Hello everyone, I come here via mutual friends. :)

I'm Alana or just Lana, I'm 27 in September, an INFP, and I'm a druid from the UK. I work as a trainee media technician and teaching assistant and I live with my boyfriend Josh, my housemate Scooby, two chinchillas and two degus. I'm very into my spirituality but am very open minded and love to learn about other walks of life and have friends of every belief, gender and race. I love diversity. I will post about my spirituality, things I see and the ceremonies I par take in but I don't throw it in your face, it's mostly for my recollection and for the fact that people do actually seem to enjoy reading what goes on within a druid ceremony. :)

Other hobbies include bird watching and general bird nerdery (birds are a bit of a passion of mine!), walking out and about in nature, watching nature documentaries, reading all kinds of books but mostly fantasy and science fiction, drawing and painting, trying my hand at new crafts and swearing in frustration at them regularly, baking horrific looking but very tasty cakes, films, hanging out with friends and table top roleplay. I enjoy heavy metal, mostly of the operatic and symphonic kind but I am very eclectic and open to all music, I have loved music since I was little and am a good singer, I also used to play the trumpet and still play the irish tin whistle. I studied music and instrumental and vocal teaching at the same university I now work at.

I don't ask much from my LJ friends, as I post about my personal life I do expect to read the ups and downs of others and won't rag on you if you post more negative than positive, my journal can come across that way but thats because my journal is the only secure place I have to vent my inner most thoughts and although I suffer from depression I am actually a very positive person. I am busy so try to keep this updated and am trying to keep it updated 3-4 times a week if not daily but during busy parts of my life you will see lapses. However I always come back, this is my safe place. :) If you wish to add me, all I ask is you don't spread around what you read, you come as an open minded individual and you are fairly regular with your posting. I don't tolerate any kind of bullying or racial or gender based intolerance nor animal cruelty. I like children and parents and wont rag on you for posting pictures of your kids but I do prefer it if you talk about other things too, animals however I can't get enough of. Got a cute puppy? Post away! :P

I'm Tanya, 29 from Southern Alberta.

I'm married, childfree, very liberal (though I don't drink or do any drugs, just due to preference), and come from an atheist household even though I'm not full out atheist. I'm introverted in real life but don't write like I am.

I often have issues with health and depression so I do write about that a lot, but I also write about trips I go on and concerts I go to (as well as random things). My main hobby is dance so I write about that a LOT.

I'm a photographer, so this time of year I don't post much as I'm busy with work, but I still try. Sometimes I post several times a week, but in slow times it dwindles to about once every two weeks. I DO read my f-list during that and try not to lurk too badly.

I'm friends only, so like other people have said, don't worry about unfriending after you read for a while if you change your mind. :)

Hi, I'm Vicki! I'm female, 31, single, no kids, but a plethora of animals (21 to be exact, though most of those are chickens, haha). I live in Northern California in a tiny town, and spend most of my time either working or reveling in my glorious, glorious free time.

I am mostly an introvert, though I can talk someone's ear off once I get comfortable, and like doing things such as reading, playing video games (my current obsession is Dragon Age), taking random pictures, drinking espresso, listening to all the music, and watching movies via Netflix.

I'm mostly a weekly updater, and comment when I have interesting (and pertinent) things to say. I also have a slight addiction to parenthesis (did you notice?) and my journal is friends-only, so let me know if you're going to add me.

About me: I've been journaling on livejournal since it's inception. But this is the journal I've had the longest. My college majors were Economics and Political Science, but I don't discuss them in my journal. I belong to communities for that. My father always told me to never discuss religion, politics, and sex in order to avoid headaches since they elicit strong responses from most people. I watch one or two new movies a week. I don't watch a lot of TV because I don't have a lot of free time. I typically work in banking and finance and am currently looking for a new position in the field. With my free time I blog and read and do various arts & crafts (knitting, card-making, scrapbooking). I'm also headed back to grad school. It's really to help me with my career than anything else. I'm a bibliophile and have read many books in my lifetime. I'm currently reading the Game of Thrones series. I don't listen to a lot of music because of time constraints, but I like classic rock, indie rock, alternative rock, British invasion, world music, and classical music. I studied classical piano for about 15 years and am self-taught in the guitar. I'm engaged to be married next year. My book reviews are on goodreads and shelfari. I just write about my day and all that entails and will sometimes include interesting finds like photos and links. I'm pretty much a laid-back, boring person, but I do read your journals. I also like to garden.

What I'm looking for: I'm looking for people that are pretty active, since I am. I try to log on at least once a day and I do read your journals. If I don't comment it's because maybe your entry is a rant and you're just venting or the subject matter is sensitive. You don't have to have the same interests as me.
